Books, Books, and More Books

I received a new book from Zooba.com, The Camel Club by David Baldacci. This book was written in 2005, the first in a series of books about members of this "Camel Club". The newest book offered from David Baldacci was the second in the series and I thought I would start with the beginning. I put the other book, The Collectors, on the list for the next shipment.

While at Books A Million looking at knitting magazines, I bought In An Instant by Lee and Bob Woodruff. It is the story of how they coped with the tragedy of Bob's traumatic brain injury.

I had a few books to donate to the library, so while I was there, I checked out Lord John and the Private Matter by Diana Gabaldon and More Twisted by Jeffery Deaver.

I'm reading the Woodruffs' book a little each day and will read the library books before the ones I own.

I'm still reading on Hitched by Carol Higgins Clark. Don't know if I can get much further. It is really just fluff and every other page I find myself thinking, "This is really dumb"! I will give it a few more chapters, maybe it will improve.

Hitched

"Bestselling author Carol Higgins Clark (daughter of Mary Higgins Clark) blends mystery, mayhem, and marriage in the latest caper in her popular Regan Reilly series."

I picked this paperback up at Kroger's this morning. I have enjoyed other books written by both mother and daughter Higgins. I expect this book to be an easy, relaxing read.
